Some have shown that this is 1260 years using the day-year theory. If so, one would have to determine at what point one would start this date and its significance in history. Using the Scriptures to describe the situation at the point of the beginning of the date. What is tha abomination of desolation that stands in the holy place? This makes for some very interesting conjectures. Check out Robert Milligan's "Scheme of Redemption", page,546-547. The whole last chapter of that book is very interesting as it is right on target as to todays's events and was written MANY years ago. My copy was published in 1961 and in its SIXTEENTH printing, and I used it as a text book for doctrine class at KCC. Milligan is the guy Milligan College is named after.I do not know when the first printing was but it was LONG before 1961. If you do not have access to the book I will be gld to show it to you but need to hang on to it. Hope
